Our commitment

The website www.lffacilities.com.br aims to meet the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and the recommendations of eMAG — the Brazilian Government Electronic Accessibility Model. This is ongoing work: we fix barriers as they are found.

Legal basis

The Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (Law No. 13,146/2015), in its article 63, makes accessibility mandatory on websites maintained by companies headquartered or with commercial representation in Brazil, ensuring that persons with disabilities can access the information available, in line with internationally adopted accessibility best practices and guidelines.

Available features

  • Accessibility panel (the “Accessibility” button on every page): text size (100%, 115%, 130% and 150%), high contrast, link highlighting, a readable font with extra letter, word and line spacing, and stopping animations. Your choices are saved only in your browser.
  • Listen to this page: reads the main content aloud, with pause, resume, stop and read-selection options, using your browser's own speech synthesis.
  • Libras (VLibras): on Portuguese pages, translation into Brazilian Sign Language by VLibras, a Brazilian Federal Government tool, loaded only when you turn it on.
  • Keyboard navigation: a “Skip to content” link, a clearly visible focus indicator, and menus and forms that work without a mouse.
  • Screen readers: page regions (header, navigation, main content and footer), headings in order, text alternatives for images, labelled form fields, and announced error and submission messages.
  • 100% text-based service: WhatsApp, email or form — no need to talk on the phone.
  • Reduced motion: when your system asks for less motion, animations are turned off automatically.
  • The website has no videos and no audio that plays automatically.

How we test

  • Automated axe-core tests (WCAG 2.2, levels A and AA) run in continuous integration on every change to the website, on the main pages and languages.
  • Automated keyboard tests (“Skip to content” link, accessibility panel, focus and the Esc key, Assessment) and reflow tests (text enlarged to 150% on 320 px screens, with no horizontal scrolling).
  • A manual review with screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver) is scheduled; this statement will be updated with the results.

Known limitations

  • The service pages, Insights and the LF Facilities Assessment are available in Portuguese only. Libras translation (VLibras) is offered on Portuguese pages only.
  • Reading aloud depends on the voices installed in the browser or system; in some browsers the feature is not available and its button is not shown.
  • Third-party features (Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection and VLibras) follow their providers' accessibility.
  • In the Assessment, the radar chart is complemented by a text list with the score of each dimension.
